Help Me Help The Brae | Riding For The Disabled in Dundee

The Brae is a great Dundee based charity that enables people with disabilities to benefit their health and wellbeing through horse riding. Medical professionals recognise that there are  significant therapeutic benefits for the rider in addition to the fun, challenge, increase in self confidence and achievement that the riders gain. The centre has to continually raise funds so BNI Synergy in Dundee are holding a fund raising night for The Brae on Friday 18th March at the Queen’s Hotel in Dundee. Tickets are only £10 each, there will be food, live music and an auction and a raffle. Please help us do something really worthwhile for this great disabled resource in Dundee! You can visit the Facebook event page to find out more or contact me with the links on this post if you would like a ticket.

The photos in this post, which I took last year for The Brae’s website, show some of the work that the centre does and how important that work is to the users.

The centre relies on the input and support of volunteers and without them the centre could not operate. Volunteers are needed with a wide range of skills to make our groups work, not just those who help with horse riding but also fundraisers, or simply those who help with a bit of DIY. If you think that you might like to volunteer at the Brae then visit this page.
