It has been a busy time of late with weddings, including a beautiful one in Portugal, time spent on training courses and a lot of time working on my new website. I will be posting images from the weddings soon but in the meantime here are some images from a family lifestyle portrait session in the Lake District.
Hello and thank you for visiting my blog.
This is where I will share regular updates on my work as well as a few more personal things so hopefully you will get to know me a little better.
I love looking at beautiful images. Always have done. I think that is what inspired me to take up photography back when I was 15. After a few diversions along the way I am now doing what I have always wanted to – working as a professional photographer. I specialise in wedding and lifestyle portrait photography and although I live in Angus, Scotland, I love to travel so you don’t have to live in the Angus area for me to come and photograph you. Aberdeen, Dundee, Perth and Edinburgh are regular destinations but I work throughout Scotland and the UK. I love destination weddings too, so if you are planning a wedding in Europe, especially Italy, please get in touch!
Although I have a passion for creating beautiful images, it is not just about the photography. I get a huge buzz out of showing clients their images for the first time. I love seeing their reactions and emotions as the memories come flooding back and they relive their day. Sometimes there are a few discrete tears, sometimes the tears flow freely but always there are big smiles and big emotions. Faces that don’t stop beaming. I am constantly amazed at the power of photography, that it can make people feel like that. That my photography can make people feel like that. After all, it is just the way I see, just what I do.
