For me, photography is about telling a story, your story. When you look at your images I want you to remember it like it was yesterday, to get that warm and fuzzy feeling inside as all the memories come flooding back.
Do you remember the moments that made you smile, but are so easily forgotten? The time when Ben was trying to make toast when he was one year old? Ok so he had a little help from Dad, but he knew exactly what he was doing, from pulling up a chair to stand on so he could reach the toaster to trying to butter the toast after.
It was about the same time as when Olivia had her first pair of glasses. She is such a star in front of the camera.
Memories are too precious to leave to chance.
They should be remembered…
treasured…
and shared.
I love being a photographer because as well as being lucky enough to share in so many special moments, I get to help you remember them.
And if my photographs bring all the memories flooding back, make you smile and give you that warm fuzzy feeling, then I have done my job.
